Dr. Ansley Jones was born in Pembroke Pines, Florida, but has spent most of her life in Georgia. Raised in Avondale Estates, she attended St. Pius X High School in Atlanta before heading to earn a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University in Alabama. She returned to Georgia in 2011, completing a M.S. degree at GCSU in Milledgeville, then earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta (formerly Medical College of Georgia).
Doctor Jones fell in love with the Lake Oconee area during her time completing her masters, and always hoped that she would be able to come back and serve this warm and welcoming community. She is incredibly excited to now be a part of GCFD because of the group’s professional and compassionate approach to patient care, which she embodies in her own work. A member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association and American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Jones is deeply committed to continuing education so that she may always deliver the best possible care to this community.
An avid lover of animals and the outdoors, and when she is not practicing dentistry Dr. Jones enjoys traveling, golfing, target shooting, boating and spending plenty of quality time on the lake with family and friends. She is married to her college sweetheart Gus, and they love living in the Lake Oconee area. Their family currently includes two dogs (a black and tan coonhound and a mastiff) and a rescue cat that keeps the dogs in line.
