Dr. Scott Hillin

Dr. Scott Hillin was born in Orlando, Florida but has lived in Georgia since the 1980’s. Scott grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Walton High School in 1988. Next, he attended the University of West Georgia and received a B.S. degree in biology in 1992. After college, Scott attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where he received his doctor of dental medicine in 1996.

Doctor Hillin is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, eastern district dental society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hillin obtained his associate fellowship within the World Clinical Laser Institute. He also completed the masters course in advanced laser assisted periodontics. Dr. Hillin regularly attends continuing education courses to keep abreast with the latest dental technology and techniques. Dr. Hillin is on the board of directors for the Greene County Chamber of Commerce. He supports various local churches and charities.

Dr. Hillin has been married to his wife Tammie since 1999. They have lived at Lake Oconee since 2000. They are members of Grace Fellowship Church where Dr. Hillin is an usher. They have two beautiful children, Ansleigh born in 2006 and Lathan born in 2009. In his free time Dr. Hillin enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Cathy Rountree - Patient Coordinator
Cathy has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since February of 2006. She graduated from Georgia College and State University with a degree in Business Management in 2003. Cathy coordinates the schedule and assists patients as needed.

Cathy and her husband, Matt have lived in Eatonton their entire lives. They have a daughter Addison, who was born in 2009. She and her husband are both active members of St. Paul United Methodist church. Cathy enjoys being with her family and friends, shopping, and exercising.

Misty Brown - Dental Hygienist
Misty has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since 2003. She graduated from Clayton State College and University with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. She has been the past Student Dental Hygiene Association President, as well as her graduating Class President in 1995 and 1996. She is CPR certified and keeps current with her continuing education in hygiene and the dental field. Misty loves being a hygienist and making her patients healthier and smile.

Misty was born and raised in Conyers and still resides there. She has been married since 1997 and has two boys. Her children attend Young Americans Christian School. She is an active member at Haven Fellowship church. Her hobbies are scrapbooking, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
 
Ashliah Phillips - Dental Hygienist
Ashliah has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since 2006. She graduated from Central Georgia Technical College in 2006 with an Associate in Science of Dental Hygiene. She is CPR certified and keeps current with her continuing education of hygiene and the dental field. Ashliah likes to make a comfortable environment for her patients as well as educate them on how to have optimal oral health.

Ashliah and her husband live in Milledgeville. She has been married since 2008. Ashliah enjoys being outdoors, meeting new people, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Deidra Canady - Dental Assistant
Deidra has been a member of  the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since  2010.  She is a graduate of Westover High School and attended Dekalb Tech and Georgia Career Institute. She assists Dr. Hillin in all procedures and makes sure the patients are comfortable and taken care of during their visit. She has worked in the dentistry field for eight years.

Deidra her husband and three children live in Madison.  Deidra enjoys taking trips to the mountains and beach, fishing, camping, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
